Press conference on OECD/G20 Base Erosion and Profit Shifting Project

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Cevdet Yilmaz and OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría will brief the media on the latest G20 discussions around the OECD/G20 Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) Project during a press conference at 8:30 am on Friday 9 October in Lima, Peru.

The briefing will cover G20 finance ministers’ views on the final package of measures of the BEPS Project, which will be discussed during a G20 finance ministers meeting on the evening of 8 October. 

A number of G20 finance ministers will participate in the press conference, which will be held in the margins of the IMF-World Bank Annual Meetings, in the Nasca press room (ground floor), Museo de la Nación, Avenida Javier Prado este 2465 San Borja.

Undertaken at the request of the G20 Leaders, the work to address BEPS is based on the 2013 G20/OECD BEPS Action Plan, which identified 15 actions to put an end to international tax avoidance.
